Man Kam To Port

The Man Kam To Port is the earliest open Shenzhen-Hong Kong land port in China. It is no longer possible to accurately open and stop applying for the license plate of Wenjindu Private Car. After passing through the Hong Kong Wenjindu Port, it was once the most prosperous core business district in Shenzhen - Luohu District. The Wenjindu Port witnessed the vicissitudes of exchanges between China and Hong Kong. The times have changed. The focus of Shenzhen has been moved from Luohu to Futian, and now to Nanshan, but Wenjindu The port is the same as the Luohu District, destined to be a legend!

Wenjindu Port Xiaokeke

The Man Kam To Port is one of the only two land ports in Shenzhen before the reform and opening up. The port of Hong Kong is called the Man Kam To Control Point and the Chinese port is called the Man Kam To Port.

The port is located at the south side of Luohu District, Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province, and the northern part of the New Territories of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. It is connected to the New Territories and Hong Kong by two road bridges. It is a comprehensive road and passenger road junction for the transit of fresh products for Hong Kong.

In 1978, it was approved by the State Council to open to the outside world.

Before the reform and opening up, Wenjindu was only a trading port for fresh goods in Hong Kong. In October 1978, a highway bridge was built. In February 1985, a new road bridge was built, and the vehicles entering and leaving the country were driven by bridges.

Whether it is a weekday or a holiday, the Man Kam To port is the least traffic flow in many private car ports in Shenzhen. The private car clearance between China and Hong Kong does not need to be queued at all.

The Wenjindu Port Travel Inspection Area was temporarily closed from 0:00 on February 22, 2010 and reopened on August 26, 2013 due to the need for reconstruction work.
